St Mary's School
Story

St Mary's Church of England Primary School has moved into the new building. We have now welcomed our 4th class to St Mary's and will continue to grow until 2020 when we will have classes in every year group up to Y6.
We hope you enjoy reading about St Mary’s School on our website and can see some of the amazing things we have undertaken in the past 3 years. As we settle into our site, we will be developing the curriculum further, particularly focusing on the learning opportunities our outdoor space will bring.
If you are a prospective parent we hope to meet you soon at an open day. Dates are posted here on the website or why not join our mailing list to receive regular updates. Just click on the "contact" tab at the top of this page to do so.

Parent Trustee Election

Many thanks to those who took part in this election, both the candidates and those who voted.

The count took place this evening in school with Mrs James acting as Returning Officer, and it was independently verified.

We are pleased to inform you that Mr Imran Awan was elected to this post.

85 votes were cast in total and the ballot papers will now be kept securely in school.

Remembrance Art

This afternoon we had a visit from Rev’d Dave to focus this important day of celebration.

To prepare for this special assembly, during the week, all classes have been working on a class art presentation. This was a montage of the symbols associated with Remembrance Day, or the written word.

As well as listening to poems and prayers written by the children, we observed 2 minutes silence.

Here are some examples of our beautiful work.
