School Trip to St Paul’s Cathedral and The Museum of London
On Friday the 3rd of February Chestnut Class went on not one but two school trips!
As you can see we were very excited.
Our first school trip was to St Paul’s Cathedral. We explored the crypt, pretended we were Samuel Pepys and got to touch some of the sculptures that survived the fire.
Our second school trip was to Museum of London. First we ate our delicious lunch. Then we got to explore the Fire! Fire! exhibition. At the exhibition we got to dress up, look closely at relics that survived the fire, sit in the tents that survivors had to use and try to redesign the city of London.
We had an amazing day and it was really cool to see all the things we had learnt about up close and personal.
But after over three hours exploring two new places and four hours on the bus we were all pretty tired.
