Annual Flu Immunisation

All children at St Mary’s are eligible to receive the flu vaccination.  This is scheduled to happen on Tuesday 20th November.  A consent form will be sent prior to this.

Thank you to everyone who helped support this worthy cause today. We raised just over £130!!


Friends, Romans and Countrymen!!

Damson class rounded off their Romans topic with a Roman Day. They dressed as Romans, ate as Romans and practised Roman drills. They then made some mosaic tiles to finish of the day.

Last trip to church for the year.

This morning, the whole school squeezed into St Mary’s Church to give thanks for the school year.

Rev’d Dave reminded the children about staying safe during the holidays and we listened to the story of the good shepherd.

Attendance – Chestnut,  Punctuality – Ash

Attendance and Punctuality cups

Last week’s winners were:  Attendance – Chestnut class; Punctuality – Ash

This week, Ash class retained the Punctuality cup, but there was a very interesting situation with the Attendance award. Only 0.5% separated the three classes, with Beech class claiming top spot! Well done to everyone.

Open Evening

This Thursday (17th November 2016), there will be an open evening for the September 2017 Reception intake. Prospective parents are invited to attend between 7pm and 8pm that evening.
